This update marks the end of the public test phase of the app, as we are no longer aware of any serious bugs.
Primarily, the update includes design improvements, bug fixes and code quality improvements, but we have also added new start and stop markers in the tracking and a loading animation when saving the boat form. The update mainly serves the positive long-term development of the app.

With Trimlog you can digitally record everything important about your boat, most importantly your trim, which you can then analyze using helpful graphs, but you can also get a trim recommendation directly from the easy to use TrimAI feature. All important tools a performance oriented sailor needs!
TRIM DIARY
"You should create a trim diary, where you write down your trim along with the weather conditions of the sailing session."
You've heard this a lot from your sailing coaches, but you still don't write down your trim? Your coaches are right: Your trim experience is getting lost! With a trim diary, you can make sure you really gain experience in trimming your sailboat and don't make the same mistakes over and over again.
Your coaches say, "Then you can just look at your trim diary before sailing and see which trim suits the conditions best."? Nice intention, but in reality it will be difficult to draw anything helpful from the unstructured data when you write your trim down with pen and paper.

ANALYSES
You wanted to go sailing, but there is no wind? Then you can use the time wisely and use the graphs in the Trimlog app to see correlations of your trim and weather conditions and learn from your experience. Through the graphs you will surely find out some interesting correlations.
AI FOR TRIM SUGGESTIONS
Finally there is enough wind for you to go sailing. Don't waste valuable water time thinking about how to trim your boat, just use the TrimAI artificial intelligence to predict the best trim for the current weather conditions based on your best training and trim data. The more trims you have already entered, the better the trim recommendation.
INTEGRATED GPS TRACKING FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Quickly hit the water, but before you do, don't forget to turn on the app's built-in GPS tracker. You don't need an extra device, you can just use your smartphone. Tracking is perfect for regatta training.

ABOUT TRIMLOG
Trimlog was founded based on the need for a solution for easy tracking of trim in sailing. Florian and Philipp, the founders and developers of Trimlog, are both long-time sailors and participate in international regattas and other sailing events. After Florian came up with the idea for the app in late 2020, he quickly teamed up with Philipp to create the perfect app for performance-oriented sailors. Our goal is to enable every sailor to efficiently learn from data and experiences from sailing, which was previously reserved for the best in sailing. That ended in mid-2021, so now everyone has the opportunity to improve their sailing through Trimlog.
