Its headquarter located in the city of Allahabad. Meanwhile, 10th and 12th standard is called the High School and Intermediate examination respectively. The board is also responsible for prescribing syllabus in UP. Board also provide passing certificate to the qualified student who scored above 33%. The Board has four regional offices in Meerut, Varanasi, Bareilly and Allahabad.
