Description [menu]
Viz Meter can measure the outdoor visibility (in meters) just using your smartphone camera!
Viz is a measuring instrument, it is not just a data collection of monitoring stations. You can measure the visibility in different environment conditions (fog, mist, haze).
This is an EXPERIMENTAL app. Feel free to contact us for any suggestion or issue (use the “Email Us” button on the Start page)
Main features:
- Measurement page (in meters)
- Calibration page
- Settings page
- History page
- Visibility chart
Quick start:
- check the environmental requirements before measuring
- follow the step by step hints
- display the Visibility chart (refer to the visibility legend in the user guide)
This application is not intended to replace scientific instrumentation, but with a good calibration it can come close to a real device.
