This mobile application is to listen valuable Dhamma talks and to promote learning and practice of Vipassana Meditation, based on the teachings of Lord Gotama Buddha, initially as taught by the (Mu La) Theinngu Sayardaw U Oakkahta, subsequently followed by the Vizawdaya Theinn Sayardaw U Thiri Dhamma.
Vipassana Meditation
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are. Vipassana is the process of self-purification by self-observation. One begins by observing the natural breath to concentrate the mind. Then, with a sharpened awareness, one proceeds to observe the changing nature of body and mind and experiences the universal truths of impermanence, suffering and egolessness. This truth-realization by direct experience results in mental purification.
Our vision
To collect establish the Dhamma Library of Dhamma Talks, Meditation Guidelines, Books, Videos and Dhamma Notes taught by the Most Venerable (Mu La) Theinngu Sayardaw U Okkahtta and Vizawdaya Theinn (Pyay) Sayardaw U Thiri Dhamma, and their descendants.
We aim to provide a conducive online Dhamma venue for the learning and practice of meditation under the guidance of Theinngu method to all of our Dhamma fellowships from all over the world.
We hope to reach a Theinngu ways of practicing Dhamma platform which is practical and relevant for this modern era, and to our future.
