Die Nordroute beginnt am Hausberg von Marktredwitz, der Kösseine, und führt über Marktredwitz und Arzberg zum Grenzübergang Schirnding und weiter in die Stadt Eger. Von dort führt die Südroute
entlang der ehemaligen Eisenbahnlinie Eger/Wiesau über die Klosterstadt Waldsassen nach Mitterteich und zurück bis Marktredwitz.
Auf dem Weg befinden sich viele inspirierende Skulpturen und Objekte, die gemeinsam mit böhmischen Steinmetzen entstanden sind und zusammen den „Weg der Begegnung“ bilden. Dieser führt auf die
tschechische Seite und besteht aus fast 30 Kunstwerken.

The northern route starts at the mountain of Marktredwitz, the Kösseine, and leads over Marktredwitz and Arzberg to the border crossing Schirnding and further into the town of Eger. From there, the
southern route runs along the former railway line Eger / Wiesau about the monastery town of Assen forest after midnight pond and back to Marktredwitz.
