Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala berfirman:
فَالصَّالِحَاتُ قَانِتَاتٌ حَافِظَاتٌ لِلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ اللَّهُ
"Wanita (istri) shalihah adalah yang taat lagi memelihara diri ketika suaminya tidak ada dikarenakan Allah telah memelihara mereka." (An-Nisa: 34)
Dalam ayat yang mulia di atas disebutkan di antara sifat wanita shalihah adalah taat kepada Allah dan kepada suaminya dalam perkara yang ma'ruf lagi memelihara dirinya ketika suaminya tidak berada di sampingnya.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:فالصالحات قانتات حافظات للغيب بما حفظ الله
"She (the wife) is a devout shalihah longer maintain themselves when her husband was not there because God has kept them." (An-Nisa: 34)
In the noble verse above mentioned among nature Shalihah women are obedient to God and to her husband in the case ma'ruf longer care for him when her husband was not there.
