Whisper NFC is an application for near field communications (NFC) enabled Android devices. The application implements Whisper Communications' patented technology (a.k.a. Whisper Cone of Silence) to secure NFC peer-to-peer file transfers when two Android devices communicate via NFC. The file to be transmitted is whisper-encoded (based on a password set by the sending user) before it is transmitted through the NFC interface. Since the password can be changed by the sending user for each transmission, it makes the data transfer secure against eavesdropping/sniffing.
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) The sending user launches the application, selects the file to be sent, and sets a password for the NFC transmission.
(2) Once the password is set, the sending user presses the "send" button and the "Tap with another device to push the data" message appears. The sending device is then tapped to the receiving device where the Whisper NFC application launches once the NFC transmission is completed.
(3) The receiving user enters the correct password. The file is then whisper-decoded and stored with the file name "ReceivedFile.Whisper" in a folder named "WhisperNFC" on the SD card/USB data storage.
(4) The receiving user can then display the contents and/or change the name of the received file with one of the many file manager applications available on Google Play.
NOTES:
(1) This application works best when transferring smaller files (10 KB maximum recommended) since it uses the NFC interface for the data transfer. For larger file transfers, install our new Whisper NFC Beam app at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whispercomm.beam
(2) This application can transfer any file type.
(3) Both NFC and Android Beam have to be turned on in the settings for both Android devices.
(4) Both the sending and receiving Android device need to have the Whisper NFC app installed.

Download Whisper NFC APK file (com.whispercomm_2_369186.apk) from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.whispercomm_2_369186.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
