Jadi secara garis besar, pembahasan Nahwu mencakup pembahasan tentang bentuk kata dan keadannya ketika belum tersusun (mufrod) , semisal bentuk Isim Fa’il mengikuti wazan ????, Isim Tafdhil mengikuti wazan ????, berikut keadaan-keadaannya semisal cara mentatsniyahkan, menjamakkan, mentashghirkan dll. Juga pembahasan keadaan kata ketika sudah tersusun (murokkab) semisal rofa’nya kalimah isim ketika menjadi fa’il, atau memu’annatskan kalimah fi’il jika sebelumnya menunjukkan Mu’annats dll.
