Beliau adalah da’i yang senantiasa mengobarkan semangat dakwah Islam; baik di dalam negeri maupun di luar negeri. Ustadz kelahiran Pariaman, 15 Nopember 1974 M ini menghabiskan masa kecilnya di bawah naungan pendidikan Muhammadiyah Curup, Bengkulu.
Seusai menyelesaikan pendidikannya di wilayah Bengkulu, pemilik situs zulkiflima.com ini melanjutkan pengembaraan memburu warisan Nabi Muhammad SAW menuju Perguruan Thawalib, Padang Panjang. Atas izin Allah, berkat do’a yang dilantunkan kedua orangtua terkasihnya dan kesungguhan tekad yang menghujam di dalam jiwanya, Zulkifli muda memburu ‘harta karun’ khazanah keilmuan hingga Bumi Para Nabi.
Ustadz yang akrab dengan pembahasan Akhir Zaman ini menggali berbagai disiplin ilmu pengetahuan keislaman di Kuliyatul Ulum Al-Azhar, Kairo, Mesir. Setelah merasakan berbagai asam garam pendidikan di benua Mesir, beliau melanjutkan belajarnya ke sisi benua Afrika yang lain; Tripoli, Libya.
Saat ini beliau aktif sebagai Da’i di beberapa Kota yang tersebar dari Sumatera hingga Papua. Bahkan, kajian beliau sering lintas negara. Mulai negeri Jiran Malaysia di wilayah Johor, Selangor, Serawak, dan Kuala Lumpur, hingga merambah ke benua Australia di wilayah Sydney dan Canbera, dan terakhir ke Timur Tengah, yakni Qatar.
Ustadz yang merupakan ayah kandung dari 15 orang anak ini, hingga kini dipercaya untuk mengemban berbagai amanah, di antaranya:
1. Pengasuh dan Ketua Dewan Syariah, Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Huffazh.
2. Pembina para muallim dan muallimat di program Akademi Asatidzah dan Program Parenting Al-Huffazh school.
3. Ketua Wali Amanah dan pembina di Madrasah Mulazamah Ulum Syariyah (MMUS) Payakumbuh.
