Cherrybelle (atau CherryBelle, disingkat ChiBi) adalah sebuah grup vokal remaja yang didirikan pada tanggal 27 Februari 2011. Girlband ini beranggotakan 9 orang wanita yang berusia sekitar 20-an tahun yang memiliki kemampuan menyanyi serta menari.
Awal terbentuknya, Cherrybelle beranggotakan Angel, Anisa, Cherly, Christy, Devi, Felly, Gigi, Ryn, dan Wenda. Pada tanggal 12 April 2012, Devi dan Wenda dinyatakan hengkang.[1] Melalui ajang pencarian bakat Cherrybelle Cari Chibi, pada tanggal 8 Juni 2012, management mengumumkan bahwa Kezia dan Steffy menjadi anggota Chibi yang ke 10 dan 11.[2]
Cherrybelle berhasil mencetak sejarah menjadi satu-satunya girlband yang menggelar konser 33 Provinsi dalam waktu 31 hari yg digelar dari tanggal 30 April sampai 31 Mei 2013. Konser yang bertajuk Cherrybelle BeAT Indonesia ini disponsori oleh Honda dalam rangka Mempromosikan album Diam Diam Suka dan berhasil meraih penghargaan Rekor MURI.
Pada tanggal 18 Oktober 2013, Anisa mengundurkan diri karena ingin melanjutkan studinya yang (sempat) terhenti selama 2 tahun, setelah ketidakmunculannya bersama 8 rekannya sejak pertengahan bulan September 2013. Dalam acara Konser 3 Tahun Senyuman Cherrybelle (16 Maret 2014), management kembali mengumumkan personel chibi ke 12 "Novi".
Di bawah naungan Catz Records Cherrybelle telah merilis 3 album diantaranya Love is You (2011), Diam Diam Suka (2013), Reborn (2015) sekaligus menjadi album terakhir bersama perusahaan rekaman Catz Records dan Cherrybelle saat ini sudah di bawah naungan CBM Entertainment.
Pada bulan Juli 2015, menjelang Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1436 Hijriah, enam member Cherrybelle memilih tidak memperpanjang kontrak mereka dengan management yang akan habis tahun ini,dan memilih bersolo karier, yakni, Cherly, Felly, Gigi, Kezia, Ryn, dan Steffy. Dan pada tanggal 4 November 2015, mereka membentuk sebuah grup vokal baru yaitu Mabelle untuk mengobati rasa rindu para penggemar.
Lewat akun Twitter resmi Cherrybelle, mengumumkan bahwa anggota yang tersisa hanyalah Christy, Angel, dan Novi. Dan September 2015 mendatang akan diadakan Audisi pencarian member baru Cherrybelle.
Pada tanggal 22 November 2015 Cherrybelle telah merekrut tujuh anggota baru untuk mengisi kekosongan Cherrybelle selama tiga bulan terakhir, dengan formasi baru yaitu : Christy, Novi, Laela, Onad, Yoeriche, Miftah, Ellen, Muti, dan Tata. Angel harus merelakan posisinya di Cherrybelle terganti oleh anggota baru dikarenakan fokus mengurus rumah tangga, namun Angel masih tetap aktif di Cherrybelle sebagai member senior.
Pada bulan Juli 2016 secara mengejutkan dua member Cherrybelle formasi 2015 yaitu Miftah & Ellen memilih hengkang dari Cherrybelle karena ingin mengenakan hijab. Dan bulan Agustus 2016 Cherrybelle mengumumkan bahwa anggota baru untuk menggantikan Miftah dan Ellen adalah Agatha dan Fisca . Namun pada bulan September 2016 Christy mengumumkan bahwa dia akan menikah dan akan menjadi member senior di Cherrybelle seperti halnya Angel. Dan akhirnya Cherrybelle kembali mengadakan audisi untuk penerus Christy. Untuk saat ini formasi Cherrybelle adalah Novi, Laela, Onad, Yoeriche, Tata, Muti, Agatha, dan Fisca. Cherrybelle (or Cherrybelle, abbreviated ChiBi) is a teenage vocal group that was founded on 27 February 2011. The girl group consisted of 9 women aged around 20 years who has the ability to sing and dance.
Initial formation, consisting Cherrybelle Angel, Anisa, Cherly, Christy, Devi, Felly, Dental, Ryn, and Wenda. On 12 April 2012, Devi and Wenda otherwise leave. [1] Through Cherrybelle's talent Chibi, on June 8, 2012, management announced that Kezia and Steffy a member Chibi 10th and 11. [2]
Cherrybelle managed to make history being the only girl group to hold a concert 33 provinces within 31 days, held from April 30 to May 31, 2013. The concert titled BEAT Indonesia Cherrybelle is sponsored by Honda in order to promote the album Diam Diam Suka and was awarded MURI.
On October 18, 2013, Anisa resigned because he wanted to continue his studies which (was) suspended for two years, after a prolonged absence together with 8 colleagues since mid-September 2013. In the event Cherrybelle Smile Concert 3 Year (March 16, 2014), management re-announced personnel chibi to 12 "Novi".
Under the auspices of Cherrybelle Catz Records has released three albums including Love is You (2011), Silent Silent Love (2013), Reborn (2015) as well as a last album with the record company Cherrybelle Catz Records and is now under the auspices of CBM Entertainment.
In July 2015, the eve of Eid al-Fitr 1436 AH, six members Cherrybelle chose not to extend their contracts with the management of which will expire this year, and chose to go solo, namely, Cherly, Felly, Dental, Kezia, Ryn, and Steffy. And on November 4, 2015 they formed a new vocal group that Mabelle to treat nostalgia fans.
Cherrybelle via the official Twitter account, announcing that the remaining members are Christy, Angel, and Novi. And September 2015. Auditions will be held Cherrybelle search of new members.
On 22 November 2015 Cherrybelle has recruited seven new members to fill the vacancy Cherrybelle over the past three months, with a new formation, namely: Christy, Novi, Laela, Onad, Yoeriche, Miftah, Ellen, Muti, and Tata. Angel had to give up his position in Cherrybelle replaced by new members because the focus of care of the household, but Angel is still active in Cherrybelle as senior members.
In July 2016 two members Cherrybelle surprisingly formation in 2015, namely Miftah & Ellen chose to pull out of Cherrybelle because they want to wear the hijab. And in August 2016 Cherrybelle announced that a new member to replace Miftah and Ellen is Agatha and Fisca. But in September 2016 Christy announced that she will get married and will be a senior member in Cherrybelle as does Angel. And finally Cherrybelle back holding auditions for a successor to Christy. For the moment Cherrybelle formation is Novi, Laela, Onad, Yoeriche, Tata, Muti, Agatha, and Fisca.
