Sholat jenazah merupakan sholat yang dilakukan oleh muslim ketika ada muslim yang meninggal. Sholat ini hukumnya fardhu kifayah, artinya wajib dikerjakan oleh sebagian orang yang ada di sekitar tempat dia meninggal, sehingga jika tak ada satu orang pun yang melakukan sholat jenazah di daerah tersebut, maka masyarakat di sekitarnya mendapat dosa semuanya. Sholat ini sebaiknya dilakukan secara berjamaah walaupun memang bisa juga dilakukan secara munfarid.
Walaupun kita jarang melaksanakan shalat jenazah, maka tak ada salahnya, Saya akan memberi tata cara sholat jenazah beserta doa atau bacaan sholat dan artinya
Karena sangat jarang dipakai, terkadang banyak orang yang lupa bacaan shalat jenazah tersebut terutama doa yang dibaca setelah takbir ke 3 dan ke 4.
